Olympia Faces off versus Emerald Ridge!

On Wednesday, April 19th, Olympia faced off against Emerald Ridge in track and field. Olympia had a strong start in the sprints with the boys getting first place in the 100, 200, 400, and 800.

Standout OHS Senior Kenyatta McNeese Jr. took first place in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes. OHS Junior Cooper Brown set yet another PR in the 3200. “I’m just thinking about how much pain I’m about to be in. I’ve accepted that it’s going to hurt if I push myself but I have to keep that mindset” Cooper added about his previous PR (personal record). 

the next meet will be held in Ingersoll stadium next Wednesday, April 26th. The Bears will host South Kitsap at 3:30 pm.
