Nancy Lopez Andres is a freshman at Olympia High School and a member of the school’s Key Club. In her free time, she enjoys reading a variety of books and exploring new places with her friends.

As Olympia High School symphonic band students left the PLU performing arts center, the tension from their on stage adjudications began to fade. OHS band director Erik Curly explained, “An ensemble is really a group,” and as a group they walked away with valuable feedback and a few comments that even left Curly raising an eyebrow, in the end each student grew from experiences like stressful performances.
