With discipline, confidence, and bonding, the tennis team has gone two full seasons without a single loss, turning hard work into a historic run.
For most teams, a single undefeated season is a hard goal. However, for this year’s tennis team, it’s become a standard. Now going on a two-year undefeated streak, the team has built a reputation for consistency, depth, and focus.
Sophomore tennis player, Megan Cornfeld, said, “I think what led us to go undefeated for two years straight is our coach encourages and pushes us every day, which gives us the courage to push ourselves in every game. When your coach believes in you, it makes you believe in yourself, too.”
The team’s encouragement doesn’t stop with the coaches. Players constantly support one another during practices and matches, creating an environment that keeps energy high.
Sophomore tennis player Arianna Seay said, “We compete hard, but everyone wants to see each other succeed.” The team’s bond extends beyond the court, creating a supportive environment that fuels their performance.
Two years undefeated is already historic, but with strong leadership, chemistry and constant encouragement from the sidelines, the tennis team continues to show why they’ve kept this streak alive.
