Olympia Theatre Program performed Twelfth Night by Shakespeare as their second performance of the year. Students spent hours preparing and studying Shakespearean language to accurately portray the plot and their characters.
Twelfth Night is a romantic comedy featuring a set of twins separated during a shipwreck. Viola, the protagonist, disguises herself as a man named Cesario for protection after the shipwreck. She begins working for the duke as his trusted messenger and ventures through the town of Illyria while figuring out her identity as Cesario.
Antonio, Sebastian's friend, is arrested when officers in the city recognize him as a wanted fugitive. He is guarded by officers, but watches as arguments and secrets unfold before him.
