Bears sweep the court: volleyball Senior Night!
Excitement fills the air as the Olympia Bears volleyball team huddles after a score.
On October 25th, the Olympia Bears volleyball team faced off against South Kitsap for their Senior Night.
The tenacity of the girls volleyball team was evident when they came back from multiple deficits to win each of their 3 matches. All 3 of the matches were dominated by the Bears, especially towards the end of each match.
After the game, seniors Bella Grant and Natalia Mcbride were honored with flowers and cheers from the crowd. When struggling in the beginning of the 2nd match, the momentum shifted after both teams were tied at 7-7.
Because of that, Olympia dominated for the rest of the match. Junior Susannah Barrett had multiple clutch spikes to push the momentum further to Olympia.
