The Bears took a 5-0 win at the home girls soccer match against Graham-Kapowsin. Two goals from senior Haelynn Kim, one goal from freshman Avery Draper, another goal from junior Jenna Rigg and the final goal from senior Kenadi Schreiner comprised the Bears’ victory.

Senior Night for the eight players on varsity this year was held after the winning game. The seniors reminisced about their four years in the program as they were celebrated by family, friends and coaches. The seniors consist of Haelynn Kim, Kenadi Schreiner, Linnea Hennen, Grace Cutlip, Kaylee Verd, Kelsi Jones, Joslyn Kruse and Lucy Clarke.

Kim described senior night as “one of those bittersweet moments. Everyone was reminded that these were [their] last few games together.”

The Bears girls soccer team will play their final conference game against Emerald Ridge this Thursday, 10/27, to wrap up their regular season. We look forward to seeing the girls’ success at districts in their first game this Saturday. Go Bears!
